Winterizing and getting back out:
Check your boat out before you get back on the water. Do you fill up with ethanol fuel and not use any stabilizer?
Check your batteries and look for corrosion and clean all connections. Make sure your ground connection is clean; many issues are fixed by making sure the ground connection is good…….
Soft Scrub to clean up your boat and vinyl – …….
Once a month- remove your cowling and rinse your …..

Favorite spray – corrosion cleaning and seizing spray, use CRC 656 (Mike also likes PB Blaster.)
Grease hubs each spring – be careful with pressure grease guns – they can blow out your seals! If you are unsure on your trailer, Mike likes to take his trailers to Tommy Stone at the Trailer Shop in Mount Pleasant. Brian also recommend Tommy as he has helped him in a pinch many times……

Next Meeting will be April 3, 2017 – Ralph Wilbanks – He discovered the Hunley while under contract for the author “Clive Cussler”. The USN also contracted Ralph to map and discover sunken vessels in the Normandy D-day WWII event. I believe he found over 600 uncharted WWII wrecks presumed lost before his discoveries.
March 11, 2017: Fly Fishing Film Festival – Charleston Music Hall – Tickets can be purchased at Haddrells, Charleston Angler and the Fly Shop on Coleman.
May 1, 2017 – Meeting will be held at Palmetto State Armory in Mt. Pleasant with Capt. Stephen Fields to go over electronics and Navionics.
April 22, 2017: First fishing contest of the year
June 3, 2017: Pig Roast (We will be looking to mail out an Evite or other form for RSVP.)
